Vehicle manufacturers are confronted by diverse challenges: mobile vehicles such as forklifts, municipal vehicles, agricultural machinery, side loaders, etc., work in harsh environments and are exposed to tremendous forces.

Robust sensors for vehicle manufacturing

These are non-contacting rotary sensors: the vehicle’s rotating axle, which is connected to a magnetic position encoder, is not mechanically connected to the actual sensor. This enables precise measurements even where there is clear radial or axial misalignment.
