Vert-X CANopen
In contrast to CAN J1939, the CANopen digital interface works with different device profiles for a range of application areas and generally offers more flexibility.

The CANopen protocol was introduced later than CAN J1939 and offers more flexibility. CANopen features in a whole range of different application areas.
Alongside automation technology, these include applications in energy generation, the shipping industry, vehicles such as telescopic and other forklifts, construction and agricultural machinery and medical devices. All of these application areas require a high degree of safety plus a solution that can be realized quickly and economically.
